this advice that Trumbo had given her before her "F. T. A" tour. It is important to find joy and laughter even during the most difficult times and dire circumstances. Activism is, at its deepest level, joyful. I think about the Emma Goldman quote, "If I can't dance, it's not my revolution".
I think that was a very timely and important reminder. So I wish all my DU sisters and brothers wonderful moments of joy and laughter and love and dancing this day. And every day.
