Justice matters.

Never a full reckoning, "I am sorry for what I did, I realize it was a crime against my country..."

(4,305 posts)The one with the Washington hat on. She was on the front line pushing with this clown then ducked behind a door and watched the cop caught in the door with a grin on her face.
This video is ass backwards from the original (Ruptly did that). The push was first, the cop in the door was after the push. The original video shows it much better but because I am not registering with youtube I can't see it anymore but I watched the original 30 or so minutes of this one.

(310 posts)I see them as willing victims in a way. Victims of a malignant ideology that preys on, and incites, their worst qualities (ie. fear, anger, tribalism etc.). They're brought up on "hate of other" in home, as well as in "church." Taught not to question "hate of other," but worship it as a perceived source of personal power, probably the only power they are capable of feeling, and thus "willing." Willing victims of a form of brainwashing that has occurred through our systems of economic-social-political and religious thought, that brings to mind the quotes of Voltaire that "Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities" and reminds one that "Common sense is not so common." The victimized are victimizers in a vicious circle.
The insidiousness of the conservative ego steeped in toxic masculinity, and the authoritarian mindset, is worse than the fact that they can't just live and let live, no, because they have an innate desire to control, own, and accumulate, even to their own detriment. Thus they scream "socialism" at anything that resembles common decency, in a selfish and childish reflex. They are mental children, albeit stupidly selfish, maladjusted and violent, mental children.
What a fuckin' pickle we're in. I don't know what can be done, if anything, to remedy our situation.
shit, how do I get down off this word salad soap box?
