Crap like this will certainly draw cheers, fist-pumps and high-fives from a few (who are powerless to do anything substantive anyway) but instead it does very little to convinced or persuade others. They make themselves and their cause/s the object of scorn and ridicule. It just makes others more likely to be annoyed and and less likely to care.
