Update @ 'Operation Dump Cuomo'
* So they came out of the gate pretty strong, with an accusation of Sexual Harassment by Lindsey Boylan, which Cuomo flatly denied. Everybody gave her the benefit of the doubt and took the position she needed to be believed and it needed to be investigated.
Whoever is behind this must be very impatient, as next they had Boylan make a second accusation. Trouble is they didn't do their homework. What she purported to have occurred HAPPENED ON A PLANE. Four of Cuomo's aides have stated that not only what she has alleged not happen, it COULD NOT have happened, given where everyone was and was not on the plane. Simply put, it was SPATIALLY impossible. The two weren't even sitting anywhere near one another, let alone sitting next to one another.
So 50% of Boylan's accusations have been demolished. She's been caught lying and making-up events. She's made a FALSE accusation of Sexual Harassment.
Obviously, this brings her first unsubstantiated accusation into question. It sets up the question many attorneys love to ask: Were you lying then or are you lying now?
* The second accuser, Charlotte Bennett, accused Cuomo of Sexual Harassment.
Senior advisor and special counsel to the Governor, Beth Garvey, acknowledged her complaint. Garvey issued a statement on how the administration initially handled Bennett’s concerns. She said her allegations, “were treated with sensitivity and respect and in accordance with applicable law and policy.”
However, the statement claims that during a thorough debriefing “on the facts”, Bennett made no claims of physical contact or inappropriate sexual conduct.
OH KAY.
* The third accuser, was Anna Ruch. Was Cuomo being a cad? Sure. Was Cuomo acting boorish? Sure. Is this Sexual Harassment? No. Otherwise, everybody in 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding' would be in jail.
Doesn't appear there will be much for the AG investigation to find.
