(16,138 posts)And you have a local Senior Center, you might call them to see if they are setting up a vaccination clinic.
We were able to make appointments with our local hospital, but not until May. Our Senior Center is likely to have it organized before that time. Fingers Crossed.
Good luck to you Ohiogal.

(40,099 posts)Not a Senior yet, not 65 anyway, but that is a great idea thank you
I was at least able to pre-register with the county Health Dept.
Why does the state deem you eligible and then theres nothing to be had anywhere? Maddening!

(4,393 posts)As a West Virginian over 65, I was eligible, as was my wife. We got the Pfizer jab this past Thursday, with the follow-up scheduled for later this month.
Light at the end of the tunnel. Every trip out of the house felt like playing Russian roulette.

(1,408 posts)I was worried sick because I'm in a nursing home(since Nov. 2019) that has stayed on top of everything from the get-go.
Meanwhile she was out and about keeping the household running.
I kept on her about wiping everything she came in contact with and we bought 2 air purifiers with UV lights.
I even bought 2 for my room here in the nursing home.
My wife got the Johnson and Johnson day before yesterday when our pharmacy called and said they had a cancellation and they had 1 vaccination left and did she want it?
She probably got there before the pharmacy hung up.
She's had no problems and that's an advantage of going to the same pharmacy for the past 25yrs. or so.
And for our pharmacy...
I'm so glad you're joining our ranks.
Stay well.
