I recall people complaining a few days after January 6, saying things like "what are they doing, when are they going to arrest anyone?"

Well, they're now over 300 arrests and/or indictments, and the estimate is that only about 400 broke into the Capitol. That's a pretty high hit rate. And I'm sure there are more to come.

Surveillance cameras and cell phone data is going to get them all!

So from that point of view, Yes, I am glad the DOJ & FBI are still putting effort & energy into id’ing and apprehending those who broke into the Capitol. However when this is all said and done with if the people who were physically there 6 Jan are the only ones arrested and held accountable it is going to be very disappointing.

If the people higher up the ladder are not held to account from the leaders of organizations that funded it to the congress people who encouraged it all the way up to the person/s who incited it are not scrutinized and held to account if it found that laws were broken that will be a travesty.

I realize FBI just got phone records of congress members and we still don’t have an AG confirmed so it’s still kind of early. So we will see.

Until they get a big fish or actually drop either the felony murder counts or the domestic terrorism clause (automatic consecutive sentences, rather than concurrent) I will not get excited.

I want plea deals that put them away a long time with no risk of a MAGAT causing jury nullification or a hung jury.
Until then, it's as unsatisfying as the Individual#1 case that has never arrested the former guy.
