This one is so obvious that maybe the rules on how "Democrats" who obviously act and vote like Republicans need to be revisited.

Again, Tester in MONTANA I would get it. Understand even - but Manchin and Sinema -- this is straight OBVIOUS AS HELL!

Bet he is getting a lucrative deal hammered out with McConnell & Repub big money to pull the rug out from under Biden & end any plans Dems have of doing anything in order to deliver 2022. You can smell it on him all the way from DC😠.

are the king makers. If either switches parties McConnell in majority leader and all the committee chairs will have an R after their name. Committee chairs determine what legislation goes to the floor for debate and ratification.

I was told that he was the best we could get and so on and so on. Well, I'd rather know we lost a vote from the outset than be sabotaged and assblasted. Do I know the "honorable" senator from WV's entire voting record, no, no I don't.

I do know that now that he wields a far more important vote than he ever has before. His course of action is to act like a grandstanding dipshit. This country has been hell bound for a while thanks to a combination of insane folks and politicians that put their position ahead of the country. Thanks to stunts like this it's never been more inevitable than it is right now.

The sick thing is that every time we claw back a little power the country we end up standing still. All because of the "duh, huh, dumb-shit" from the moderate, "now is not the time" Democratic crowd. This, of course, will be followed by the 10 steps back we'll take once the Republicans regain power. Why will they regain power after doing the same nothing as always? Well, that will be because Democrats were unable to completely undo their fuckshit in two years they are always given. This happens every time...... every... time....

Nope, never going to happen. He'd lose all power if he did and be a nobody in the GOP.

This is a meaningless threat on his part.

He's not stupid, he may be high on his power at the moment, but he'll never enjoy this level of play as he has right this moment in the GOP. Also, in the GOP he could easily be primaried out of existence the moment he crossed them. He'd be nothing but their puppet for the rest of his career as a US Senator. Which would be extremely short.

He's not going anyplace. Wait and see if I'm not correct on this. This is blather and him spreading his feathers in his moment of peacock. It's all about his ego and wanting the attention, but he knows where his real power is now, and as long as he wants to remain a US Senator.

Also, he sucks. He knows we hate him and takes glee in the fact he's safe from us and can be the jerk he is with impunity.

and enjoying the attention and support of a selection of their constituents, but they probably have destroyed their political careers (and deservedly so).

The Democratic party can do better in AR and WV regards Senators. Upcoming elections are an opportunity.

The very best way to deal with rural and red state voters is to provide benefit to all, and most notable the GOP voters. Most will still be GOP long haulers but some will see that there is a better path. FDR with the New Deal was strong in rural America. Use the Green New Deal to re-invent red and rural economies for a start.
