and constantly put him down, for such superficiality, do you even realize how much he promotes the black culture? And the culture of many people of color as well as sexual orientation?
Just wondering.
He's one of a kind, especially on a news show (MSNBC). But shit, he's got whiskers.

(34,189 posts)But not enough to say hate. Ari's look doesn't bother me any more than any other unshaven man's. And I do like his show even if I know nothing about the alternative life styles he features. He enlarges my world, so I appreciate him for that.
Thanks for the comment

(34,189 posts)If his viewers requested, I wonder if he'd shave a second time in the afternoon? Of course, if his viewers either don't care or like his look, there is not reason for him to do it. His body, his choice.
I know the difficulties - not personally - my father was also dark haired and if he had an event to go to at night, he'd shave again in the late afternoon, as close to the time he had to leave as possible. He had to do that nearly until he passed away at 90. His stubble was not longer black but gray like his hair had gone.

(3,751 posts)he challenges those who want it their way. Regardless, he is a brilliant mind and brings on what some might see as outres and let's us judge the success of the interview. He is about raising the bar. Does it fall of the stands, yes. It gets put back each night. He has great advanced thinking essays. Can't take him? Don't get an abortion.

All good things in moderation, Ari. That's all.
