Look I know this is super early, but while the democrats are shorthanded, they are dedicated to improving the lives of people as much as possible. We absolutely need as many more seats in the House and Senate as possible in the next election to fulfill our agenda -likely ending the fillibuster, reforming our courts, protecting the right to vote, etc. We will not be able to do this as easily without more Democratic members in our caucus. I pledge to knock on doors, make phone calls and donate as much as physically possible in order to secure Biden's bold agenda for the rest of his term.

We cant the house slip away, and it really looks feasible that we pick up a couple of senate seats. That would squash Manchin and sinema!

(31,261 posts)I dont see why Democrats here are pissing and moaning about the fact that Democrats cant just wave a magic wand and somehow get policy that House and Senate procedures make impossible with our thin majorities. People need to focus on fucking growing our majorities, then get pissed off if we have more than 60+ Senate seats and a comfortable house majority and dont get things done.
People like to recall FDR, but the fact is FDR had a big Senate and House majority to work with, we fucking need to focus on getting back to that point instead of pissing and moaning.
