who worked their asses off to elect Warnock and Ossoff. This day would not have been possible without them.

(14,887 posts)There was a group of about 15 women, in So Cal, who wrote a boatload of postcards. I did so many I had a dream of Warnock and Ossoff letters floating over a landscape.

(18,881 posts)This goes to show how very important it is for Americans to get out and vote. We need to make sure the GOP can't continue to suppress the vote in our respective states.

(8 posts)My partner worked tirelessly on the phones for Fair Fight Georgia (founded by Stacy Abrams), and I did some calls the last quarter of 2020, and I was on the ground in Dec and Jan for our Senators. It was so worth it. Celebrating with all of you!
Couldn't figure out how to add a jpg, so here's a link to a card I designed for us down here in the ATL-

(10,108 posts).....And to Stacey Abrahams and to everyone who worked and volunteered to help make this possible.
I'm very proud to say that about five weeks before that January run-off election, I called Georgians every Wednesday and Sunday afternoon through a group that had organized here in California.
This is how we do it - All of us coming together and doing what needs to be done throughout the whole country. That's why we need to all get as involved as we are able in whatever ways we can. Some may not be able to phone bank but can give money; some may not be able to give money or phone bank but can send cards.
IMHO, we're going to have to be doing this for the rest of our lives. I feel that if the Republicans EVER have power again we can say goodbye to Democracy....

(12,182 posts)One of a VERY few people that have been completely and totally indispensable to the Democratic effort. Others have been important, even VERY important, but none as indispensable as Ms. Abrams and President Biden.
Very, very thankful to them all.
