Ask the fucking repubs why they didn't support a bill that 70% of the public wanted and needed.MustLoveBeagles

(52,545 posts)as it puts the focus on the fact that not one single republican voted for it. Best to hear it said out loud, even though of course, Biden cannot speak for the republicans.
Now, if reporters would start asking republicans why they didn't support this very popular bill. Maybe ask them every day for weeks, hold them accountable.

(6,817 posts)I'd like to know why, too.
Why can we not wrangle a single vote? Are things that bad, and if so what are our plans to assure that their side - who have forfeited, it seems, their abilty to govern - never be in power again?

(31,731 posts)I guarantee you they will be more scare going forward. Fact is, they can only appear on Republican Propaganda networks where that question will never be asked. Instead, they will use plays from their rat f'ng playbook by finding a few isolated issues with in the funding/distribution in an attempt to discredit the entire legislation. Take it to the bank.

(11,546 posts)but if Biden took the chance to answer "because they're selfish pricks who don't give a shit what the public wants and needs, isn't that obvious to you yet?" then I'm glad the question was asked.
I really hope he said that, although I'm sure he wouldn't be so rude about it.

(4,392 posts)Theyre too stupid to understand that opposition for oppositions sake isnt always a good thing.
Knee jerk opposition is often detrimental to ones own well being.
Control the narrative.
