Do any of the "insurrectionists" have any regrets two months later?

I have read accounts where some are complaining that they are not being treated fairly? They have even screamed at the judge at their hearing. Another said he was "duped" by Trump. Another said he had learned his lesson and was ready to go home to Mommy and Daddy. One complained that he had to sleep with cockroaches.

Is reality beginning to set in? What were they thinking? Did they think they could commit sedition against our government and just walk away? Did they think they would get a pardon?

It must really hurt to be so stupid?

There was absolutely no question that Dolt 45 would remain in office and they would be greeted as heroes.

They thought they would succeed. It never occurred to them that this stupid "plan" would amount to nothing but a failed insurrection & there'd be a piper to pay.

When they get 20-yr sentences, go see them in 10 years and ask them about Q and Trump and regret...they'll understand by then...

I'm sure they've got a lot of time to think, and it might just be occurring to them that their orange savior isn't going to save them.

Poor things.

Like it's fun and games to them. We get horrified that they trashed Nancy Pelosi's office, stole her laptop and used the rug as a toilet. They laughed at that shit! They think it's funny because to them it's all about "owning the libs", whatever that is.

that what they did is not a minor thing. They’ve been told that they could be facing lengthy prison terms even with a “clean” record. There are no easy defenses to be used to get them off. Now it is sinking in (to some) that tRump will not save them. Even when he could, he did nothing to make their situation any better. Only the most deluded of them still have any hope that it will all be okay.

So depending on how devoted they were, how brainwashed they are, their understanding of what a big deal this is for them and their freedom will vary. For some, the fight goes on. Their devotion to Dear Leader continues. For others, it just a matter of finding a good enough lawyer to avoid spending the next 20 years behind bars. That’ll be a very bitter pill to swallow.

...and they were angry that he lost. They were mad. They were pissed! So they let their emotions get the best of them? They were deeply hurt and scarred by the loss to Joe Biden.
