I put married with 56 kids. 84,400. In reality, I’m getting 1400. But that sure sounds good.

Really don’t need it, anyway.

In honesty, I benefited greatly from the tax cuts a few years back. Not many did.

Single person making $77,000 gets $840?
So, they lose $560 in stimulus for 2 grand a year more.
At $74,999 the stimulus is 1.87%. At $77k, it's down to 1.09%. At $78,500, it falls to 0.535%.
That seems drastic to me.
It greatly dilutes the stimulative impact.

you will have to file taxes and wait for a refund for either of the latter two.

Normally I wouldn’t complain. I’ll be okay really, but money I would now normally be putting into local businesses is going to pay off debt I accrued to make ends meet. It’s a (substantial) net loss for the economy.

I haven’t had a raise in almost 10 years - but got a bonus last year right before covid that takes me over the limit - looks like I will still get the stimulus.

The first one I had to go onto a website and fill stuff out ... but the 2nd one just appeared in my account one day.

I make (just) low enough to get the whole check, so will it just appear in my account again like last time, or?

And didn’t start until July. So, this is the first year he will file return. He makes $60,000 a year. I read somewhere he’ll be able to deduct it on his tax return and then get it as a refund. Does anyone know if that true?
