We are every bit as aware as the rest of you of the problems in our states and do what we can to make things better, donating, volunteering, writing letters, working polls, calling members of Congress. It is very frustrating and discouraging to strive to get our members of Congress and fellow citizens to listen to our concerns while at the same time getting insulted by our only support group, which is here on DU. We get mighty lonely, indeed even frantic, when we see where this state is going, and we need all the help and encouragement we can get to turn it around. Please remember us when you write things about Texans and citizens of other red states. We ARE TRYING our BEST against huge resistance.
