Elections matterand were seeing why. Congratulations to the Biden Administration and to the American people on a COVID relief bill that will improve the lives of families across the country.
This landmark legislation will help families pay rent and put food on the table, lift millions of children out of poverty, make health care more affordable, aid small businesses, fund broad-based vaccination efforts, and make it easier for states to reopen schools.
This is the kind of progress thats possible when we elect leaders across government who are devoted to making peoples lives betterand a reminder of why its so important to vote.

OP
He certainly deserves it but I would like to see him still able to mix it up politically

Democrats try to help those who need it; Republicans try to help themselves to OUR money.

(24,455 posts)1. I wonder if President Obama would be interested in a Supreme Court vacancy?
He'd be an awesome, inspiring addition.

Plus, it would cause so many Repub heads to explode it would be worth it to see him on the court but I have to think he would be frustrated with many aspects of it and who he would have to work with.

(24,455 posts)4. Well, his opinion would be 1st among equals.
Love to see him engage Clarence Thomas on their legal analyses of Constitutional Law.

if he is really meaningfully engaged at all? Would love to be able to see all the dialog that RBG, Thurgood Marshall, Scalia and others have had with their colleagues about cases but when not in court. I'll bet there are some real zingers.

(89,247 posts)7. Remember, we would not have the 600 either if Republicans won
Georgia's Senate seats in November.
scumbag mitch only brought it to a vote to try to save those seats.
