and on budget issues. After some research I found that there might be ways to pass more than one bill using reconciliation. And green energy and infrastructure could both pass the cut if they are tweeted as budget bills. Of course DUers want to know if killing the filibuster could also pass this way? That's speculative as well, and the presiding officer of the Senate could rule favorably on that, and she could also fire the meddlesome parliamentarian.
Everyone, keep your fingers crossed. We are not done yet now that the relief bill is passed. In fact, we might just be getting started.
There is a theory floating around that Democrats might be able to pass more than three reconciliation bills, based on a rule that allows them to revise each budget resolution, but that maneuver has never been tried before, which makes it a bit speculative.

(53,776 posts)and Sinema...maybe sweeten the pot, and/or sweeten it on some issues in the Dem agenda. Perhaps green energy development and jobs in West Virginia to replace dwindling coal industry jobs.
I'm not familiar enough with Sinema's problem in AZ, a state that's turning blue with republicans introducing legislation to stop it.
