18 and 19 year olds involved in the insurrection grew up in households that talked the talk. Can we slap bad parenting charges on their parents?

I'd make them ineligible for parole until they can pass a high school government exam. Maybe a sims style video gaming system to see if they can create and run a non fascist society.

5. How civilized. Let's hope our judicial system functions as it should

On the plus side, Biden's already doing away with for-profit prisons for federal offenders (these adolescents), and I read that he's about to make them illegal at the state and county levels also.

6. They can take classes from the inside of a jail cell

If a 17 year old can be executed wor walking while black, and a 25 year old can be executed for jogging can be executed for jogging while black than these fuckers can figure out how to take a civics lesson from behind bars.

8. The huge irony is.....

Many of these young people have already served sentences of many years of brainwashing by their parents, preachers and peers and forced to watch Faux News, listen to R-W talk radio and hear biased sermons from the pulpit.

It would be great if we had a correctional system just to educate people gone astray in civics, American government and history but right-wingers would throw a hissy fit and claim it would be gubmit brainwashing.
