Joe Biden Lives in Delaware and Other Absurd Moments From Biden Spox Jen Psaki's Briefings

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki is developing a knack for responding to absurd questions during her daily briefings, such as her now-second foray into explaining to adult reporters that President Joe Biden has a home in Wilmington, Delaware.

While not the most absurd moment of the week, one exchange was telling in its similarity to other moments in the briefing room.

A reporter told Psaki that “The President has traveled back to Wilmington a couple of times since taking office. The CDC does still urge people not to travel for personal reasons,” then asked “Obviously, presidential travel is very different than commercial travel, but should the President be doing more to set an example about personal travel during a pandemic?”

Psaki patiently explained “Well, the President lives in Wilmington; it’s his home. That’s where he’s lived for many, many years. And as you know, as any President of the United States does, he takes a private airplane called “Air Force One” to travel there. That is, of course, a unique — unique from most Americans, but I think most Americans would also see that as a unique circumstance.”

She has the patience and insight to answer even the most ridiculous of questions

You are so right about how she answers the most ridiculous questions. Who asked that stupid question? And, did they ask the same about the many trips to Maga-lago?

Though she is patient and articulate, her annoyance at some of these dumb questions is revealed by her facial expressions. I can just hear what she is saying in her mind. So disciplined and competent.

I'm not sure, but she may be the best White House press secretary I've seen. Biden certainly does know how to hire the "best people", which will be crucial to his success.

Lazy journalism...I remember when there were real reporters looking for real stories about corruption and malfeasance. these idiots don't want to lose their sources...who are the perpetrators of corruption and malfeasance.

The Con flew to FL practically every weekend during the height of the pandemic - and often not wearing a mask. Was that question ever posed to that wretched man?

Press: "Well, the last president let us just watch videos all day...".

Jen Psaki: "Well, this is a different president. You will have to do the work in order to pass."

14. They are more like reality stars then journalists. Why don't they do some reading

and research into issues that matter so they can ask better questions.

I guess it's too boring and they are looking for a few seconds clips they can play over and again to fill time instead to actual reporting on issues.
