... minimum wage 15 times. If they'd only had called it just one more time.

TTBOMK it's been quite a long time since Congress could vote themselves pay raises. I want to say ... the 1990's?

But I could be wrong.

And no raises since 2009. This is quite interesting, and includes a chart for Congressional salaries since 1789. https://fas.org/sgp/crs/misc/97-1011.pdf

would have been 2009, or 2008. No raise for Congressional salaries since 2009.

Since then his salary has increased from $75,100 to $174,400. There were about 17 salary increases in that time frame. See https://www.senate.gov/artandhistory/history/common/briefing/senate_salaries.htm
Many of the salary increases may have been due to an automatic increase based on a statute but:
1. did he support the statute that provided for these incremental automatic increases? If he did, then I think that the statement in the OP is just a bit off, not false entirely.
2. his salary is more than double what it was when he started in 1985. More exactly it is 232% of what it was when he started.
Despite the increases he has enjoyed, he refused to increase the minimum wage.

The OP needs fine tuning to be completely accurate, but there is reason to be indignant.
