but that confirmation is needed.

One of those already seated is, I believe, staying on after a completed term and can be replaced but I don't know for sure that's accurate, and I don't know who the new appointees are (I doubt just their names would tell me much anyway.)

I expect he can apply moral suasion to the Board, but only they can fire DeJoy or hire a replacement.

37. I am a huge USPS fan

and that went into overdrive when i learned about the Postal Reorganization Act of 2006 which require USPS to fund pensions 75 years into the future. No one else, public OR private does that. No one else could without going bankrupt. Legislation has been introduced to correct that, but it is not getting the attention it deserves. Congress can act. Biden has to depend on the Postal Board of Governors. It raises my blood pressure.
