It resides out in the countryside.
Has there ever been a political Party more out of touch with their voters than the present Republican Party? Almost half of their voters supported Joe Biden's COVID-19 Relief legislation, but he could not even get one vote from the Republicans in the US Senate. If they had voted in proportion to their voters, there would have been twenty or more vote for the legislation.
They really have no argument about "bi-partisanship". That was their call and they missed it.
They have become something else besides a representative political Party?

(47 posts)Democrats fold and give the Republicans whatever they want.
I say screw the bi-partisanship. I haven't healed from the events of January 6th. I am not ready to move on. I have never been so divided. I have absolutely no interest in the party of sedition and insurrection. The left needs to get rid of the filibuster in the Senate and let our elections have real meaning again.
