Blunt will not run for reelection in 2022

https://www.kshb.com/news/local-news/sen-roy-blunt-says-he-wont-seek-re-election

It's been a rumor for the past several months and it's now true. Several Democrats have already lined up to run against him so the new GOP nominee will be interesting. Vicky Hartzler desperately wants it but there is so much misogyny in the MO GOP I'm not sure she'll get it. She wanted Josh Hawley's seat but was advised that it wasn't her time.

Greitens wants the seat. He will have support but there will be plenty to vote against him. He's an embarrassment for most in our state.

From Stacey Abrams that is working on GOTV w the youth and urban centers. The three most populous areas are all blue but gerrymandering has disenfranchised voters.

These red states aren’t as solid red as some people think. A Dem Senator from MO is not crazy, the right candidate could win.

People love her now on MSNBC but back then they dismissed Claire McCaskill as a DINO and offered her no support.

The candidates are slowly announcing right now. I know Scott Sifton, former state senator, has announced. We also know Greitens has an exploratory committee as a Republican.

When she was paying for high rents on HQ and was supporting most of the other races down ticket. I know in several counties he paid nothing for office rent, including my county.

Hawley used state vehicles, computers, etc to campaign. He's also embroiled in a dark money scandal. The SuperPACS were hit and heavy for him, with lots of paid advertising/merchandise/signage,etc.

Most outside of Missouri have no idea how dirty that race was up until the very end. It's a race that should have been investigated.

by not approving enough members for them to have a quorum. And, the Billy Barr DOJ certainly wasn't going to look into it, either.
