Is there any big call in the UK to get rid of the monarchy?

I don't care what the answer is to that question.

My point in posting it is that it is THEIR business, not ours. Their monarchy has no international power. It has little internal power. In essence, it doesn't matter.

But it sure does set gas bags to gas bagging.

I believe after the queen passes away, there’s going to be a redo of the monarch. How it looks after? I don’t know. Sweden still has a monarch in name but they literally are just that. No difference to the world at all. Perhaps Britain will go that route. Keep it, but just ceremonial. No prime minister calls, no international intrigue as today. Perhaps tourists still would want to see things related to the monarch but as interesting as Disney.
