She never adds anything substantive to the conversation. But she does attract attention for her crazy views, which brings more publicity to the show.

Television is an entertainment medium. The View is made to entertain through discussion of current events. The producers would not keep someone like McCain in the cast if her presence didn’t benefit the program in some way.

I rarely watch the View, so I’m not its target audience. I’ll tivo it about six times a year when someone like Buttigieg or Klobuchar are guests.

She's a brat, but she stirs things up. That is her function on the show. I don't watch it regularly, but I find clips of her tantrums to be quite entertaining. I suspect others do as well.

parent and staff kids. Many of these students do not meet admission requirements.

One of my cousins has a degree from one of the Ivies and works there now.

The remedial track is like one big independent study and lots of seminar electives.

Growing up the daughter of a war hero US Senator (3 generations of Admirals in the family before that) and the daughter of a beer distribution heiress. I mean just fathom all the struggles, all the barriers thrown up in front of her, just the years and years of doing what she was doing before she was the third team replacement on a show where people sit around and try to make news talking about the news.

I don’t think we really should sit in judgement of her not being able to really understand her struggle.
