If you haven't, you should watch: The Final Days (1989).

It's a sequel of sorts to All the President's Men and is about, as you can guess, the final days of Nixon's presidency.

Very good movie. Lane Smith's portrayal of Nixon is the best I've seen of Nixon - and one of the best of any president.

and didn’t know there was a movie. Glad Nixon didn’t destroy the tapes but the fact that he didn’t was a massive blunder. He was a fouled-up person, but he believed in America and a functioning gov’t. Contrast to Trump who hates everything and everyone, except the most recent suck-up.
