Receiving $1,400 Stimulus Checks

If you received both, will this check also be sent automatically? Does the change from Trump to Biden change anything (having to re-apply?)

1. Yes, you should automatically get this one also if you got the others and are eligible.

2. Same, same, going by latest tax records, automatic bank deposit, easy peasy

6. We got our first payment via direct deposit.

The second was sent in the form of a paper check. NOT at all sure why since we file electronically every year and get refunds via direct deposit. We have done it that same way for a long time.

3. I got the first one quickly, I didn't get the second one and had to file it on my income tax return.

So I will know I got it if it turns up in my account. I intend to spend mine on women and wine, the rest I will waste.

Hopefully, we both get it this time and not have it deducted from our 2021 tax form next year. We didn’t have to wait that long. But this one would almost be a year.

7. I had filed last years taxes on paper, and at the last minute since I owed taxes.

That put the whammy on getting the 2nd round of payments. Although the IRS processed my check shortly after the due date, they did not process my return by the end of the year.

I filed electronically this year.

Most people got that in a matter of days after the bill was signed. If it gets signed Thursday, you can expect checks to go out early next week.
