The show had the theme that the ordinary Sec. of the Treasury made an especially honest president - the old "ordinary people are the real heroes" thing.
And wasn't it the Senate majority leader who had started the coup? Interesting indeed!

(1,132 posts)3rd season was a Netflix original - it was a little edgier. I thought the whole series was well done. And after the Jan. 6 nonsense, the series premises not so far fetched.
