6. Oh well, crap. I'm not getting a lot of news today except here, so that's the first I've heard of it

I don’t want him to resign, but I think he has to come to some sort of terms with this. Is this someone that worked for him?

8. Oh boy. I don't like that it appears he has been inappropriate and he should know better.

I think if he sticks to his guns that he’ll ride it out, much like Northam, but I wish he’d done a bit better with his first statement.

9. Yeah, it's going to be a rough passage. I hope he survives it, but shouldn't run again.

Northam seems to have grown from the experience. Also, he can't run again anyway (1-term limit in VA).

Gov. Northam cannot succeed himself, but he can run again in 4 years.

Virginia has no term limits for governor, but they can't serve consecutive terms.

Holy crap that's disgusting.

Why doesn't the UK just replace those twits with animatronics? Much lower maintenance cost.

Than the Tiger Woods-broke-his-leg extravaganza. Just saying.

To be fair, the Covid Relief bill has been covered fairly extensively in the media for the past few weeks, first in the House, and then in the Senate. The compromise bill vote is something of a formality, hopefully.

14. We are watching a pair of royals becoming major American celebrities

For some reason the public loves the rumors, innuendo, drama, and scandals of celebrity figures. It sells the news.
Big scoop for Oprah and a major publicity break for the future of a no longer senior royal and his actress wife.
I would not be surprised to find they have inked a major deal going forward. Hiltons, Kardashians, and Trumps are so yesterday.
We now have a bona fide prince.
