Capitol stormer begs judge: 'I just want to go home to mom and dad'

Bruno Joseph Cua, the Milton 18-year-old charged in connection with the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, wants to go home to his parents.

Prosecutors allege that Cua assaulted a federal officer while fighting his way to the Senate floor. He was photographed twirling a baton in multiple locations throughout the Capitol, joining the lawless mob that disrupted the counting of electoral college votes certifying the election of President Joe Biden. The charge for obstructing an official proceeding before Congress is punishable by up to 20 years, according to Cua’s attorneys.

A federal judge in Atlanta denied Cua bond on Feb. 12.

Prosecutors have objected to Cua’s release to his parents’ custody because it was his parents, Joseph and Alise Cua, who drove with him to Washington to attend former President Trump’s “Save America” rally.

Isn't there someone that wants to pretend to be the QAnon Saviour to be called by the QAnon Shaman to save the faithful and deliver them and the country from the clutches of the elitist pedophile canabalistic cabal? I am seeing a new business opportunity here for the right kind of slimeball. My finances wish I could be that evil and shameless to take advantage of all the stupid and gullible masses but I just don't have it in me.

Unless his parents were aware of his intent to break into the Capitol, took part, or were part of the planning, I'm not sure how they could be held responsible. Driving him to the rally is hardly a crime.

And when you try to overthrow the government, enter a government building illegality and commit vandalism you have to face the consequences.

And shame on mommy and daddy driving you there. The cost of attorneys will eat into the families finances big time. I don’t feel sorry for you!

The main reason I’m glad is he’s a dumb 18 yo who got way over his head.
This dumbshit needs more compassion than anger.

He should be punished...boot camp..community service
Being forced to an education.

I’m just a bleeding heart for this kid.

Sorry .

Jail might make him even more dangerous but a slap on the wrist..no! Not for him or his family or friends who enabled him. He needs to understand just what he did n how serious an offense he made. Coddling young kids don’t teach a thing except escaping judgement. Don’t get me wrong..I’m sure he n others got wrapped up in this but that’s no excuse. Hopefully a judge will give him a sentence that is teachable for his life but not off too easy.

Boot camp ?
Community service?
Education?

No reason to make him a worse criminal.

Thank you for your post.

I would apologize like hell, admit the error of my ways, blame my Messiah Trump, and request to go back to mommy and daddy.

And later, I would complain about jail living conditions for sympathy.
