If the poll included Republicans the numbers would go down.

This is a recent net favorable ratings poll.

And I'm not saying it's wrong. Just -- for what it's worth.

Suppose these things are useful in some contexts. But -- still remember a VERY unpopular McConnell -- very handily defeating an opponent in a recent head to head. So -- for what it's worth ...

Lots of Bernie haters around here. I also believe Manchin would poll better here at DU than the country at large. Lots of Manchin apologists around here.

I don't give a fig where in the Big Tent one stands - if they act like an obstructionist they need to be treated like one by the Party.

President Biden is showing the way to REAL Bipartisanship.

And it does NOT involve kissing the ass of Corporate lobbyists, Conservative PAC's, Big Oil, Big Pharma, or other entrenched Oligarchical groups.

These Conservative Dems are going to be trounced in 2022 - Rebub lite NEVER works. People want the real thing - not the generic version or copycats who blow with the perceived political winds.

I just hope we have enough REAL Centrist and Progressive candidates to actually Win in Purple areas.

After they sabotaged Obama's agenda.

And now those same centrists are doing the same thing to President Biden.

They need to be brought to heel.

and he had bowed out already, so most Democrats wanted to show support for the inevitable winner,....was in 2016.

Oh dear! Sanders won ALL 55 COUNTIES!

Yes that's only with Democrats voting. ( Like you Sid ). But that result in 2016 kind of destroys the talking point of Sanders having no support or relevancy in that State. And support for AOC, Sanders, overall is only rising across the country.

He only won the last Senate race by three percentage points.

He can't win without progressive Democratic votes. He risks having them stay home in the next election if he keeps playing the obstructionist.

He and the rest of his simps need to understand that.

You are assuming they didn't stay home before. Voter turnout in 2018 for that race was something like 42%, so they already did stay home and he won anyway.

Manchin only won because he managed to keep just enough Democratic voters. But his performance was pathetic compared to Ossoff, who kept 94% of Democrats.

You mean the governor who this week said he was lifting Covid restrictions because the "data" said they should and then today had to announce that they had underreported COVID deaths? Yup, super worried about that guy.

Justice isn't going to be the nominee for Senate in '24. He'll be lucky to be alive in 4 year, much less capable of running for anything. He also underperformed both Trump and Capito last year, while running against a complete nobody. He was even primaried by his own Commerce Secretary.

What is Justice going to do? Attack him by saying that he'd have voted for a bill that....Machin voted for? Or is he going to say that there should be a $15 minimum wage? If that's the case don't you think somebody might ask him why WV doesn't have a $15 minimum wage when he was governor for 8 years and his party controlled both houses of congress during all of it? Go ahead, explain to me how this attack from the left is going to work exactly.
