Sanders: The Senate must now pass the PRO Act to strengthen unions and restore power to workers.

The Senate must now pass the PRO Act to strengthen unions and restore power to workers.

It was the trade union movement that built the middle class, and it will be the trade union movement that will rebuild the middle class once again.

The PRO Act has passed the U.S. House 225-206 with 1 Democrat voting against the most important progressive labor law reform in American history

And I have to say, I think it is going to mean big things in the Senate.

Richard Trumka (AFL-CIO) has already been very vocal about the filibuster standing in the way of getting it passed in the Senate.

Things will get very interesting very soon!!

Maybe SEIU will also come forward.

To ADD to Sanders comments, it will be trade unions who will make the Senate a FUNCTIONING deliberative body again.
