Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI received my (only) Covid-19 vaccination last night!
Took me a number of tries to get an appointment. My classification (2 or more risk factors) became eligible in Colorado last Friday, and the first few times I tried for an appointment it was taken by the time I finished the form. Finally got a spot toward the end of the night, and I stopped by King Soopers and got jabbed.
And since it's the Johnson & Johnson variety, that's that...other than the fact that this will likely be an annual ritual, just as getting the flu vaccine is.

(2,971 posts)I'll take it. Also, this should clear me for international travel as things start opening up in a few months of so (Thailand!).

(2,971 posts)I'll update if there are any further effects, but so far....nothin'. I did read that the J&J vaccine has a considerably lower incidence of side effects, only occuring roughly 1/5 as often, as I recall.
