Since the Jan. 6 Capitol riot that was powered by the site, some police departments have axed their accounts, while others insist they’re just lurking.

3. Standard community outreach. Not to say the LAPD's not infested

with racists of all colors as most metro PDs are, but that's not what the LAPD's public affairs office was there for.

6. Well, we should be able to get some idea from the hundreds

and likely thousands of other official PD, SD, FD, City Council, County Commission, F&G, etc, etc, sites on social media. What are they up to?

Btw, I once did some clerical work for the LACSD's internal affairs investigations. I wouldn't put anything at all past individuals, just questioning whether the entire leadership would think carrying out illegal and subversive activities via their official site was a good idea.
