We're not even close to having vaccinated our 1b here yet, but here we go onto 1c! Honestly, considering the bottleneck we have here with distribution, and the added chaos it would cause to toss everyone into the fray, I don't think he's going to be the one. If anything he's ticked off Biden stole his thunder.

It's already a hunger games scenario here to get a vaccine appointment. Making shots available to everyone who wants them will be popular here. Not having access to them would be something they will try and deflect onto the administration.

I sat almost 3.5 hours in my car yesterday waiting for a vaccine I had already jumped through several stressful hoops to obtain an appointment per the urging of my doctor. Who left the process of finding one up to me since they don't have access to the vaccine themself. Which ended up meaning nothing since the system broke down and vaccine providers weren't working together (different medical centers) and a RW judge told many county employees to just jump into the queue without appointments.

I was lucky, I got mine. Many other people with appointments didn't due to the traffic jam which was created. It was a nightmare.

I'm of a mind the more chaos they can bring into the process here the happier they'll be here.

Have President Biden arrange for transport of citizens of "non-conforming states" to neighboring states for vaccines; that will make the Governors and Senators, "of non-conforming states", look like the idiots they are.

Most, if not all, of NE IL is still in Phase 1b which is where 75% of the population lives. Phase 1b+ is also the largest group from what I've seen. Unless we start getting flooded with vaccines, don't see how it gets opened to the general public here in 7 weeks.
