Last Night Is Why Joe Biden Won

Every president is eventually called upon to help us collectively grieve.

JOE BIDEN may be the first president elected to do so.

His speech Thursday night had some important policy promises — by May 1 every adult will be eligible for a vaccine and by July Fourth relative normalcy will return.

But it is worth taking a moment to dwell on this unique pastoral role of the presidency, if only because it has been absent for the last four years and because Biden is being widely praised for restoring it.

one of the core messages of Biden's speech ..... is empathy. The very thing that Trump was incapable of. When Biden speaks, you can literally hear it come through in his measured tone, the simple phrase, "I care".

3. Joe is genuine and Trump is fake it is that simple

Joe has real empathy and really cares, Trump never did, he only cared for himself

Karma is real and Trump is gonna choke of a burnt piece of steak and he will be going "Why did this happen to me ????"

The fact that 74 million fools voted for that man scared the crap out of me.

4. I'm Not Sure When This Pandemic Is Going To End

I know we're all going to be able to get the vaccine, and I plan to just as soon as I can (any vaccine; I'm 62 with high blood pressure and on the list through my state and through work), but there are lots of people who won't do it for their own reasons. And with Texas and Mississippi (and other states) lifting their mask mandates, people are going to travel, and oh by the way, they'll carry the virus with them and we'll be not back to square one, but certainly set back in the National recovery.

Why can't smart people be smart and make good decisions? I know many people who aren't getting the vaccine aren't getting it because their *leader* told them this was all fake, but not all of them are sheep...they're just making stupid decisions. Grrrrrrrrrrr.
