It seems to me that the Potato Head "controversy" has dissipated, as has the Dr. Seuss stuff. That kind of stuff is hard to sustain - by the time the next election rolls around, no one will remember that.

Anyway, the Democrats had nothing to do with either of those things. I guess we could use the slogan "The Dems are so clean, the Republicans have to invent things to be outraged about."
