Basically you have to file a tax return showing no income and give them your bank account number and routing information. Then they may or may not decide you qualify for stimulus payment.

I had used the non filer's option during one of the earlier stimulus allotments but I hadn't heard if I should do so again (or found the URL).

She files a tax return yearly and received the previous stimulus payments via direct deposit. When she attempted to use the "Get my Payment" IRS tool it reported that information on her payment was unavailable so either the IRS doesn't have enough information and she is eligible for a payment which didn't seem to make sense given her filing and previously receiving EIP.

Does anyone know What might be causing this?

P.S.: The non-filer information sending form is closed.

Payment status unavailable this time. Don't understand what the problem is.
