Just knowing it is waiting for a landing brings me joy. They provided the other six grandchildren ranging from 8 to 3 months.

It has been tough on them too. They all are back on site in a school or daycare.

The credit union posted that our check for $2800 will be in our account on Wednesday. I really don't mind at all if President Joe isn't doing press schmoozing or tweeting, he's got his eyes on the important things to Americans. The fact that it pisses off the Republicans is even better.

I'm sure most are still waiting, but it's really heartening to hear that there is tangible proof that when the Biden Administration said "don't wait," that things started moving immediately. I wish things would work like that here (I live in Germany).

"The grandmas" are pooling ours together to get a young lady with a baby we know out of a toxic living situation with her parents and into her own apartment. She can afford the ongoing, but not the up front costs. .

By April fools day we hope to have her set with all the basics. We've even figured out how to surprise her with some old but decent starter furniture and kitchen gear.
