320 charged. 900 search warrants. 15,000 hours of surveillance tape. And they're not done.

Fed prosecutors are seeking 60-day delays on Capitol riot cases, calling the probe "likely the most complex investigation ever prosecuted by the Dept. of Justice."

The court document also disclosed new details about the sprawling nature of the riot investigation.

More than 900 search warrants have been executed in nearly all 50 states and Washington, D.C. And investigators have received a huge volume of material, including more than 15,000 hours of surveillance and police body camera video, 1,600 electronic devices, more than 80,000 reports of interviews with witnesses and suspects, and more than 210,000 tips from members of the public.

Florida Woman Admits The Capitol Riot Was '99% MAGA'

“We broke a few windows, sure but we were a peaceful protest occupying the people’s property,” Corrine Lee Montoni wrote of the January 6th riot which left 5 dead and more than 140 police injured.

Montoni added, “Trump is our leader. This is not over yet.”

Corinne Lee Montoni, 31, of Lakeland, was arrested Tuesday morning at her home and now faces federal charges for obstruction of an official proceeding, entering a restricted building and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.

She is the 25th Floridian charged in connection with the attack that disrupted a congressional hearing to certify the Electoral College count for the 2020 Presidential Election.

Federal agents arrested an Army veteran with ties to the far-right Oath Keepers paramilitary group on Thursday on conspiracy and other charges connected to the violent storming of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.

Kenneth Harrelson, 41, made his initial appearance in federal court Thursday in Orlando, Fla. He was ordered to be held pending a detention hearing Monday.

Harrelson faces four counts, including obstructing an official proceeding, destruction of government property, entering a restricted building and conspiracy.

He is accused in an FBI affidavit of conspiring with nine individuals, all of whom are affiliated with the Oath Keepers and are facing federal charges for allegedly coordinating to storm the Capitol.

At a hearing in federal court in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, prosecutors said they anticipate up to six or more additional defendants could be added to that conspiracy case.

Florida Woman Warns FBI She Will ‘Shoot Their F**king A**’ if They Probe Her for Capitol Riots

Palming a bottle of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire, Palm Beach County resident Suzanne Ellen Kaye filmed a TikTok video last month explaining that she was on the FBI’s radar after allegedly taking a trip to Washington, D.C., on the date of the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.

“Hi friends. I’m here to let you know I need to drink,” Kaye said before taking a swig from the bottle. “Just got a call from the FBI. They want to come talk to me about my visit to D.C. on January 6th.”

So far so good. The bottle of Jack makes it art. But typical MAGA ruins everything by sounding like the violent and volatile people that we want arrested and on the prison system’s radar.

“I’m an American. I know my fucking rights,” she said in the video. “My First Amendment rights to free speech, my Second Amendment right to carry a gun, to shoot your fcking ass if you come to my house. So fuck you!”

Those of us fortunate enough to have gone to an upper tier law school, or anyone having taking high school civics, knows that technically, one doesn’t have the right to “shoot your fcking ass if you…” go to her house with an arrest warrant because, again – technically, you don’t have the right to attempt a coup at the Capitol.

The six officers were suspended with pay, and the department is looking into the behavior of more than two dozen others.

USCP’s acting chief ordered that any officer whose behavior is not in keeping with the department’s rules will face “appropriate discipline.”

Dozens of officers from around the country who participated in the riot or attended Trump’s nearby rally before the mob attacked the Capitol have come under scrutiny by their departments, according to an Associated Press survey last month. Some have faced charges, while others have been placed on leave, the AP reported.

12. Feds arrest third Michigan resident in Capitol riot probe

Mar 2021

James Allen Mels, 56, posted selfies after entering the Capitol and told investigators he traveled to Washington, D.C., with 11 other "like minded Patriots" because "he believed the 2020 presidential election to have been fraudulently decided," according to a federal court filing.

The sheet metal worker was released on $10,000 unsecured bond following an initial appearance in federal court in Detroit. He is the third person from Michigan charged with a federal crime in connection with the Capitol riot. His case is in the process of being transferred to Washington, D.C.

A handcuffed and shackled Mels was dressed in a dark hoodie and gray shirt during the court hearing. He appeared confused and stared at the defense table before saying, at one point, "I really don’t understand a whole lot of this."

Thomas Caldwell, who is alleged to be on of the orchestrators of the Capitol attack on Jan. 6, says there’s no way he could have led the mob since he is an “old cripple.”

Caldwell was being held in custody as he awaits trial. Arguing for his release, he claimed that events at the Capitol that day were not planned, and even if they were, he wouldn’t have been able to physically participate. The FBI claims it obtained messages showing Caldwell coordinating with others to travel to D.C, with the militia group known as the “Oath Keepers.”

Caldwell’s attorney also said his client is now confined to a wheelchair and suffering from debilitating back pain because he’s been unable to receive orthopedic treatment while in custody.

According to Reuters reporter Jan Wolfe, Calwell’s lawyer argued that he didn’t plan to participate in any violence that day, but instead was only there to “help police respond to Antifa.”

California activist charged in D.C. Capitol riot is honored by Sacramento GOP group

Jorge Aaron Riley, the Republican activist who is one of three Sacramento-area residents facing charges in the Jan. 6 siege of the U.S. Capitol, was honored this week by the Sacramento Republican Assembly for his long service on the group’s board.

Riley, who won his release from custody last month in Washington, D.C., is featured in a Facebook post saying he was “honored by the Sacramento Republican Assembly (SRA) for serving 11 years on the executive board including being elected to 6 terms as president!”

“Jorge is the first SRA president to tie the previous record set by SRA Founding President Greg Hardcastle,” the post states. “Local SRA and California Republican Assembly (CRA) leaders gathered to pay tribute to Jorge for both his service on the SRA as well as the CRA board of directors.”

Riley is pictured in the post by California Republican Assembly national committeeman Bill Cardoza holding a trophy and standing alongside other Republican activists at a meeting Tuesday evening at Perko’s Cafe Bradshaw.

Riley, a former president of the Sacramento Republican Assembly and corresponding secretary of the California Republican Assembly, resigned from the CRA after his involvement in the Jan. 6 insurrection became known.

18. A Navy security contractor was arrested for rioting at the Capitol
Sun Mar 14, 2021, 03:12 PM
Mar 2021

NEW: A Navy security contractor was arrested for rioting at the Capitol. Since then, investigators interviewed *44* of his colleagues and found he was widely known as a white supremacist, often expressed Jew hatred and even wore a Hitler mustache to work.

A U.S. Army reservist who participated in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot was widely known as a white supremacist and regularly discussed his hatred of Jews while working at a New Jersey-based naval facility, according to new evidence revealed by federal prosecutors late Friday.

The reservist, Timothy Hale-Cusanelli, who worked as a security contractor at Naval Weapons Station Earle and held a secret-level security clearance, was arrested and charged Jan. 15 for allegedly breaching the Capitol. At the time, prosecutors described him as an “avowed white supremacist” and Nazi sympathizer, a determination based in part on evidence provided by a confidential source to the Naval Criminal Investigative Service and a YouTube channel in which Hale-Cusanelli expressed those views.

But Friday’s filing — a bid to keep Hale-Cusanelli in prison while awaiting trial — included newly revealed results of an extensive NCIS investigation following Hale-Cusanelli’s arrest. That investigation included interviews with 44 colleagues at NWS Earle conducted on Jan. 20 and 21.

Of those interviewed, 34 agreed Hale-Cusanelli held “extremist or radical views pertaining to the Jewish people, minorities, and women.” One contractor colleague said he discussed his dislike for Jews every day. A supervisor told investigators she had to admonish him for sporting a “Hitler“ mustache (images of which prosecutors extracted from Hale-Cusanelli’s phone).

“A Navy Petty Officer stated that Defendant talked constantly about Jewish people and remembered Defendant saying ‘Hitler should have finished the job,’” according to prosecutors’ summary of the report.

19. "A clear danger:" Attorneys explain why they want Cleveland Capitol riot suspect in jail
Sun Mar 14, 2021, 03:18 PM
Mar 2021

CLEVELAND, TN - U.S. Attorneys want Jose Padilla, who faces charges in connection with the January 6th insurrection, to remain behind bars while he awaits trial. They call him “a danger to our republic”.

Attorneys say Padilla, among other things, threw a flagpole at a Capitol Police officer on January 6th. Federal officers arrested Padilla on February 23rd outside of his apartment in Cleveland. He appeared in Chattanooga Federal Court later that day, and remains in custody.

In Tuesday's letter arguing why his status should not change, attorneys with the U.S. Department of Justice said:

"Padilla gleefully entered the Capitol in the midst of a riot. He did so to stop or delay the peaceful transfer of power. And he carried and used a dangerous weapon. Padilla took these actions in front of hundreds of police officers, indicating that he cannot be deterred easily."

"After the events, Padilla recounted in a posting on thedonald.win the following: “The war has been upon us for years and we’ve just been wringing hands about it. After the events of the 6th, I’m done being passive.”

"There is clear and convincing evidence that the defendant would pose a danger to the community if released, and that there are no release conditions or combination of conditions that would ensure the safety of the community."

NJ Trump Fan at Capitol Riot Charged After Co-workers Call FBI

#LawrenceStackhouse had been reprimanded previously by his employer for wearing Trump clothing and posting political signs around his work area

A Trump supporter who bragged about being at the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol is the 13th New Jersey resident charged with participating in the insurrection.

Co-workers reported Lawrence Stackhouse, of Blackwood, after he called out of work on Jan. 5 and 6, the day that supporters of President Donald Trump descended on the Capitol and forced their way inside as a joint session of Congress met to approve the Electoral College votes, according to a complaint against Stackhouse.

One of Stackhouse's co-workers recognized him in a photo showing him inside the Capitol wearing a Trump beanie and distinctive sweatshirt he had worn in the workplace, according to the complaint.

Stackhouse had been reprimanded previously by his employer for wearing Trump clothing and posting political signs around his work area in violation of company policy, according to the complaint. The name of the company was not disclosed.

Investigators tracked his cell phone use to Washington, D.C., the day of the riot and said he posted a photo to his account on the encrypted messaging platform Telegram showing himself at the "Stop the Steal" rally prior to the insurrection.

FIFTH MONTANA MAN IS ARRESTED FOR INSURRECTION UPON THE CAPITOL
Boyd Allen Camper walked around with a Go-Pro, telling CBS News later, “We’re going to take this damn place. If you haven’t heard it’s called the Insurrection Act and we the people are ready.”

Montana Man Who Bragged 'We're Going To Take This Damn Place' Now Arrested By FBI

A Montana man who confirmed his illegal presence inside the U.S. Capitol in an interview with a national TV network has been arrested and charged with four counts related to the deadly Jan. 6 riot.

Boyd Allen Camper made an initial appearance in U.S. District Court in Missoula Friday morning. Camper’s charges include parading, demonstrating or picketing in Capitol buildings; engaging in disorderly or disruptive conduct at the Capitol; knowingly engaging in disorderly or disruptive conduct in restricted areas, and knowingly entering or remaining in a restricted space without authority.

In an affidavit submitted to the court, the FBI provides several photographs it says identify Camper inside the Capitol on Jan. 6, along with statements from a number of witnesses who confirmed his presence. In an interview with the FBI on Jan. 21, Camper admitted to filming inside the Capitol with a stick-mounted Go-Pro camera and said he “picked the right hole” on his way to breaching the building. Camper also told investigators “in my mind, we were going to take the Capitol steps.”

Camper is also identified as “Boyd Camper from Montana” in a CBS News interview that was posted online the day after the riot. When a reporter asks Camper, “you were inside the Capitol?” Camper responds, “I was on the front line.” Camper then went on to say, “We’re going to take this damn place. If you haven’t heard it’s called the insurrection act and we the people are ready.”

This might be the most striking of the thousands of court filings submitted in US Capitol Insurrection cases. Filed this weekend against Guy Reffit of Texas

"TRAITORS GET SHOT" - Feds allege Reffit threatened his children if they turned him. "Choose a side or die"...

"WE ALL HAD WEAPONS BUT NEVER FIRED A SINGLE ROUND" - Justice Dept says Reffit brought firearms to DC on Jan 6
