The third leg I sprouted did make my afternoon run easier, but the 5G service is kind of spotty around here so the voice in my head from Gates and Soros keeps cutting out...
A little soreness, honestly more at this point than any other vax I've had besides yellow fever, but nothing of any concern. Will check in again after 24.

(114,646 posts)Not much soreness for me so far.
Mr.Bill
(24,906 posts)with nothing but a little soreness at the injection site for about one day.

(5,340 posts)It's fine; my legs are actually more aching than my arm right now. But even if it does get worse, I'm ok with it - a. I'd like to have some semblance of normalcy and b. seriously, the yellow fever shot is a special kind of hell and I keep reminding myself that; this cannot be worse!

(76,627 posts)Nothing. Not even soreness around the injection site.
I was at least expecting the sore arm.

(5,340 posts)Some of my high school classmates are...well, let's just say it involves a rodent living in a privy. One of them hits the jackpot, Qhead Fundie Naturopath - she's absolutey livid that I tagged it #rewritemydnaplease* and #IDGAFifitfelltoearthinanalienspacecraft, says I "don't understand the unimaginable damage I'm doing to my genome and it is NOT A LAUGHING MATTER!"
* - I'm well aware of how mRNA vaccination works

(3,782 posts)Bit of minor soreness, nothing distressing. Looking forward to my second and full vaccination in 2 more weeks.

(34,890 posts)Although, not enough to keep me from maintaining normal activities. I had some soreness during the next couple of days, but I don't know if it was from the shot, or from my bad shoulder.

I had my first Pfizer shot. Piece of cake.

(1,495 posts)I wonder why there is such a difference in the amount in the 2 vaccines.
LisaL
(47,420 posts)But that would mean a separate clinical trial, I am assuming.

(24,307 posts)No big deal.
I get my second dose one week from today.

(1,495 posts)I'm not sure if the fatigue was related to the vaccine though because I didn't sleep well the night before. I'm getting my second dose in a few weeks.

(5,340 posts)And it's why I decided to check in.
The extra limb fell off about an hour ago, so that shouldn't be a concern.

(179,476 posts)I had no reaction to first shot but had a slight fever for one night after second shot
sir pball
(5,340 posts)Sore as hell, a bit shaky and at 100.8.
All good though, I have an extremely overreactive immune system - I've literally been sick once in the last 24 years, without ever having a flu shot, so this is not unexpected and should actually mean I have a better outcome.
But for now I just want some Earl Grey, hot, and my binkie.

(5,340 posts)Flu shots are just mind control to whip us all into an orgy of buying useless crap, why do you think they're administered just before the Christmas season?!?! Wake up sheeple!!
Realistically, I honestly never once had the flu till I was 39, and even then I'll just deal with it rather than get the shot. All that running I do does pay off.

(3,193 posts)They didn't begin until about 8 hours after each shot and lasted less than 16. A lot of tiredness, chills and sore muscles...mostly on shot 2. But didnt last long on either.
Congrats!!

(20,047 posts)So far, it's preforming exactly as poorly as I expected.
On a serious note, my arm hurt quite a bit on my Moderna first dose, too. It caused me sleeping discomfort for 3 days. No big deal, but I'd notice it when I rolled onto it.
I just had my second on Wednesday and it hurt on Thursday and was all gone completely by today, Friday. I hope your experience is at least as mild as mine was. No other side effects other than going to bed early both nights of my injections.

(5,340 posts)Instantly recoiled and it's been "downhill" since then - not doing great ATM but certainly nothing I regret!

(20,047 posts)I know I got lucky on my vaccine. I have a couple of autoimmune conditions (RA and lupus) and was told I might overreact to the antibodies. Fortunately, I didn't beyond being extra, super sleepy and my arm thing.
I hope you feel better tomorrow. Congrats on the shot and the antibodies you're building!

(5,340 posts)Can't lift my arm more than 45 degrees, aches, chills, even a touch of nausea...officially not looking forward to #2. But going by this reaction, I'll be super immune at least!
And now I'm gonna go spend the day in bed.

(5,340 posts)I didn't have anything planned for today or tomorrow, for just such an emergency. It's unpleasant, but nothing horrible and a small price to pay!

(47,420 posts)My only symptoms so far are slightly sore arm.
My immune system must be sleeping.
