(47,940 posts)You're the second we've heard of. This is unbelievable.
I get my second shot on Sunday at the amazing site at the Oakland Coliseum. I want to pinch myself to prove I'm not dreaming all the wonderful things that are happening. If we can get rid of the filibuster for civil rights/voting rights bills and pass HR1 and the John Lewis Voting Act bills I won't know what to do with myself.
And let's not forget to spread some love to the people of Georgia for giving us these two wonderful Senators.

My dear hubby just got his 2nd shot today at the Oakland Coliseum!

(2,984 posts)She uses a wheelchair, and has not been out and about since March 7, 2020, so she was happy it was drive-thru, and she just had to sit in the van, since she was kind of worried about exposure, otherwise, since she can't adjust her mask on her own.
Yes, lots of good news!

(65,865 posts)If you have less income now, it might be a good idea to file 2020 taxes.
ailsagirl
(24,287 posts)Mine should be based on 2020s income but since I havent filed yet, theyll use my 2019 return which means Ill get zilch. I knew I should have filed earlier! 😣
AnotherMother4Peace
(5,072 posts)stimulus should be based on 2020's return, even if it's delayed for the filing. hmmm

(24,287 posts)I wish I had known! I would have filed it in February!

(9,304 posts)and we are expecting "Snowmageddon" so there's no one there. There is a link to check the IRS but a few days doesn't matter to me. I was expecting it around now.
I'm very glad people who need it more than I do are getting it before I am.

(280 posts)Yea! What a good day for you. Here's a warning for all of us who don't get the stimulus direct deposited. I had no idea that some of us were getting their relief checks in the form of debit cards. It looks like junk mail with an unknown return address and I came SOOO close to throwing it away last time. The guy at the bank said it's happening to a lot of people so be careful. Again, kudos Jaysunb.

(25,246 posts)I'm on SSDI, with an income too low to file a tax return, and I bank at a credit union. Does that have anything to do with delays?

(50,999 posts)it's the Republicans who keep saying government is slow and won't help, so when they get elected they make it slow and unhelpful.
bucolic_frolic
(54,494 posts)and wonder what will happen with the third stim. I called the 800 number and all it said was to file the form or look at the gov website online. I don't even know if Taxpayer Advocate has jurisdiction here.
I just don't understand how they got the first stim correct, but now I'm invisible to them. I don't know what to do, sit and wait I guess. I filed a paper tax return, hopefully they will pick that up. But historically my refunds are very slow, usually not until July even though I file in March. It's been that way ever since I stopped sending my returns to Hartford. Now they go to Ogen UT. Slow as molasses.
