(58,618 posts)error message showed a break between cloud and DU server.
It happened while I was posting. I re-started and checked. The post is there.
I was having ads in the lower left (normally) blank space. That time, the block below the post I was replying to had an ad there instead of the normal list of replies.
Looks ok now.

(21,939 posts)Star Members should NOT be seeing any ads at all, so this is a problem.
I'm not entirely sure, but this may be related to the issue from the other day. We are looking into it right now.

(21,939 posts)We have various tech supports trying to track this down... It's a bit tough to diagnose because it appears to be happening randomly to random users, although we have some ideas. I've experienced the occasional Cloudflare error page myself this afternoon/evening, but have not seen any ads showing up where they shouldn't be.
If anyone is still experiencing this problem of either seeing error pages or ads where they shouldn't be, please let me know.

(21,939 posts)We're doing the tech support dance right now so hopefully there will be a fix for this shortly. Hang in there, and my apologies. We'll keep you updated.

If you're on a desktop or laptop, open the files that I linked to in that post, and hold down your Shift key while you refresh the page in your browser. Do that for each of the four links, and hopefully your problem will be resolved.
(Don't worry, the files aren't harmful -- they're part of our software and your browser already accesses them regularly when you're using DU.)
