OK Now, Let's Get This Straight

Donnie not only had NOTHING to do with the Covid vaccine, he had LESS THAN NOTHING to do with the Covid vaccine. All you need for this is a 2020 calendar.

In blindingly record time, the Chinese mapped the entire genome of what is now known as Covid-19. On January 11th, they sent a copy of the mapped genome to the W.H.O., sent a copy to the U.S federal government, and they then published it online on the internet.

The scientists from Moderna saw it, and in less than 48 hours, they had a vaccine. They had a vaccine that worked. In the lab. From there it was only a matter of determining if it was safe for humans.

During this period of time, Donnie claimed the virus was a hoax by the Democratic Party, then it was a Chinese hoax, then it was no different than the flu, that it would go away like a miracle, that the administration "had it contained" and the 15 cases would soon be down to zero, nothing to worry about, we're doing a fantastic job.

The first death in the U.S. from Covid-19 occurred on February 29th, so Moderna (and the Chinese) had a vaccine more than six weeks earlier.

The process for determining if a drug or vaccine is safe is quite standardized, involving Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3 trials. There was nothing Donnie could have done to cut corners or speed-up the process.

His "Warp Speed" crap was exactly that. Crap.

that they were dealing with a very dangerous virus, they mapped the Genome and shared it with the world. I remember reading in December about how China was trying to figure out what was happening (along with some officials covering their ass), within a month, they had mapped the Genome. I don’t know whether it was done in record time. Australia was the first country to officially start working with the data Chinese scientists sent out.

After 13 min in, Richard Engel's segment titled "The Birth of a Vaccine" can be viewed, about how the Chinese mapped the 30,000 character genome of Covid-19:

https://www.nbcnews.com/nightly-news-netcast/video/nightly-news-full-broadcast-november-12th-95829061895

Also, I forgot to mention I heard a BioNTech spokesperson being interviewed on the BBC, telling them that they originally had no intention of creating a vaccine, until they saw the mapped genome of Covid-19 published by the Chinese, and their scientists saw 'something' they thought they could use to attack the virus. Pfizer is manufacturing their vaccine.

I have to look for the link for the Moderna story.

Chinese researchers reveal draft genome of virus implicated in Wuhan pneumonia outbreak
By Jon Cohen
Jan. 11, 2020 , 3:00 PM

Scientists worried about China’s lack of transparency about a month-old outbreak of pneumonia in the city of Wuhan breathed a sigh of relief today, after a consortium of researchers published a draft genome of the newly discovered coronavirus suspected of causing the outbreak.

“Potentially really important moment in global public health-must be celebrated, everyone involved in Wuhan, in China & beyond acknowledged, thanked & get all the credit,” Jeremy Farrar, head of the Wellcome Trust in London, wrote in a tweet. “Sharing of data good for public health, great for those who did the work. Just needs those incentives & trust.”

Also this morning, Wuhan health authorities reported the first death from the new disease. The patient was a 61-year-old man who frequently visited the live market in Wuhan that most cases have been linked to. He also suffered from abdominal tumors and chronic liver disease and died on Thursday. The Wuhan Health Commission said 41 people so far have been confirmed to have been infected with the new virus; no new patients have been identified since 3 January.

News about the sequence came from Edward Holmes, a virologist and evolutionary biologist at the University of Sydney, who tweeted the first notice about the availability of what he referred to as an “initial” sequence of the virus early this morning. Holmes is a member of a consortium led by Yong-Zhen Zhang of the Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center & School of Public Health that posted the sequence on an open-access site, virological.org. The consortium said it had also deposited the sequence in GenBank. In a brief note, the group said researchers were free to analyze and share the data, but asked that groups “communicate with us if you wish to publish results that use these data in a journal.”

(God I hate typing that, but my Devil's Advocate tendencies compel me)

Guaranteed federal purchase of the vaccine meant that testing and scale up of manufacture could happen in parallel, rather than serially, speeding up the time-to-market. A more traditional drug/vaccine life cycle is: develop molecule, progress through Phase 1, 2, 3 trials, then approval, then begin commercial manufacture. Beginning commercial manufacture when starting trials should speed up the process greatly, but would potentially leave the manufacturer sitting on millions of dollars of useless product if approval was not forthcoming.

Federal involvement via Operation Warp Speed did likely have a role in speeding the vaccines to market. Without it, the same things likely would have happened, but the timing might have been very different.

Even so, all of this is what competent "Deep State" federal employees would have pushed forward regardless of who was in the White House, so The F Guy shouldn't be claiming credit for not F-ing up what the competent people were trying to do (for once).

There was nothing to fast track. Cutting corners, skipping steps, or rushing the trials would be illegal. I remember the heads of Moderna, Pfizer, and another company made videos promising the American people they would stick to the standard protocols.

The roll out on this was incredibly fast -- and well above the predictions that were made.

Because they had a vaccine on January 11th.

Any bump on a log would do that. It's quite common, people preorder/prepay for books or computer games before their release dates.

However, Donnie even fucked that up. When Biden was sworn in, there were less than 50 million doses and no plan to get them into arms.

Federal involvement via Operation Warp Speed did likely have a role in speeding the vaccines to market.

I see no evidence of that.

During the speech he also seemed to downplay the severity of the outbreak, comparing it to the common flu.

That was a criminal lie.

Caught on 'tape' to Bob Woodward that he knew how deadly it was before he lied in public for political gain.

Didn't work, but hundreds of thousands needlessly paid the price with their lives.

Here's my take... The sheer hatred and disdain for slaves and descendents of slavery live on today. It was stoked by him. His craven desire for violence and death of minorities is shared by a very smug and amoral minority of whites who call themselves "Christians". Most who die of Covid fall under the category of enemies of him by virtue of their status. He not only didn't care, he was probably thrilled by the suffering of hundreds of thousands of Americans.

His actions need to be under a giant microscope so that no one can deny his traitorous actions and his ugly words.

"Do you think [President Donald Trump] needs to be enlisted here at all to get his voters to take this vaccine?" Todd wondered.

Chuck, I hope he does because the numbers that you gave are so disturbing," Fauci replied, "how such a large proportion of a certain group of people would not want to get vaccinated merely because of political consideration. It makes absolutely no sense and I've been saying that for so long."

Some are just tools, but others know this is going to hurt EVERYTHING.
