This is after a couple of years, when there is enough vaccine for every person in the world who wants it. So we are talking about March 2023.
I think the United States, Brazil, and Papua New Guinea will have the lowest. Papua New Guinea has a large percentage of the country living in remote areas, many of them with limited contact with the others. They have hundreds of languages. It seems like this might make a widespread vaccination program difficult.
Brazil is being devastated by Jair Bolsonaro. The whole place is a mess and their COVID response has been even worse than ours under Donald Trump. Maybe if they get rid of him in next year's election they will be able to turn it around. Ironically, I have heard that they were once very good at getting vaccinations done.
The number of vaccine-skeptics in the Unites States is unbelievable. At least one third of the country is likely to refuse. It may even hit 40 percent. It is so sad that people are turning down this opportunity to protect themselves and others.

(1,327 posts)because eventually there will some sort of "vaccine passport" or proof of negative covid test that becomes required for certain activities like travel, school, work in certain fields, and entry into large scale events. It may at some point become more inconvenient to remain unvaccinated.
