Bummer. Luckily I don't need the money right away but I was hoping I'd get it in the first wave. Last time, I didn't get it until early February.
Anyone else getting a 'Payment Status - Not Available' on the IRS website?

(47,423 posts)Same here. I know I am eligible. And there is only $5 left in the account-no stimulus yet.

(34,857 posts)At least I know I'm not the only one who's eligible that isn't listed yet.

(10,969 posts)Were not eligible, but I checked for my mom. March 17th direct deposit.
Thanks for the link. Ill share it around.
Bummer about the delay. Do you get direct deposit or is it mailed? I feel like mailed checks got to people a heck of a lot later.

(47,423 posts)I got the first two payments, so where did the information go?
Says "not enough info OR you are not eligible."
We'll see. I am starting to fidget.

(47,423 posts)Seems like the darn tool can't find me.
Which is weird, since like I said, I got two previous payments with no issues.

(2,016 posts)Last time I got it 7 months after they announced the $600. Both are direct deposits.

(1,541 posts)I got an email from my Congressman (Neguse) about this stimulus, so I plan on contacting his office if I don't receive it within a reasonable amount of time. I received the 1st $1200 without any problems.

(16,385 posts)I had to claim it on my tax return but havent received it yet. Im expecting my $1400 to take a while to get to me. Its weird because I got the $1200 so I should have had no problem getting the next two. I only make $15,000 so theres no question Im eligible.
beveeheart
(1,541 posts)to do that since we're expecting a lot of snow here (Boulder area). How/where did you claim the $600 on the tax form?
Elessar Zappa
(16,385 posts)it was under the "Recovery Rebate" part.

(34,914 posts)I just got a letter from the IRS dated March 1, stating that the payment was direct-deposited. Don't give up on it yet, and if your last check was direct-deposited, check your account again. It might be there now. Also, I read that if you don't get it, you can recoup it as a tax credit.

(82,383 posts)I thought it was not subject to tax.
Elessar Zappa
(16,385 posts)but they informed me the only way to get it now is claim the recovery rebate and Ill get a refund of $600 (or $2000 if they send me both checks together).

(17,506 posts)The IRS website just says it needs more information. I don't know if the rules for the $600 are the same as for the $1200 (amounts decrease up to the old cap) or the new rules (nothing if AGI over 80/160k).

(65,912 posts)She is on Social Security got her first stimulus by direct deposit. But that account was closed and she got issued a check for the second stimulus. Now nothing is shown for the third stimulus.
Drunken Irishman
(34,857 posts)But it also probably means no direct deposit for me and I'll get stuck with a card again.

(65,912 posts)I guess all you and my mom can do is to keep watching Get My Payment. You should get the stimulus eventually. But it is frustrating. Mine was scheduled to be sent to a closed account AGAIN. Who knows how long it will take them to reissue a check.

(169,751 posts)(and I get the paper check) 45 signed the legislation on Sunday December 27th and I had the 2nd check in my mailbox on Saturday January 2nd (and had it not been for the New Year's holiday, it might have come on the 1st).
The first check did come later.

(64,324 posts)I don't expect direct deposit because I didn't get either one of the other payments that way.
So, I'll be waiting.

(7,350 posts)On my tax refund, it said they had only received my filing but no scheduled date. It was deposited the next day. Same with the $600, "Not Available"....popped into my account a couple of days later. This one, my bank says I'm getting it on the 17th.

It is really too easy to make a bogus site that looks like a .gov though.
I make it a habit to not immediately trust anything.

(3,748 posts)Your SSN, DOB, AND street address. But I knew this was safe from the last check.
Kaleva
(40,365 posts)I tried to find my info but got locked out after so many attempts. I was entering my actual street address. Then i thought i'd try my wife and I entered our PO Box number, our mailing address. There I got through and saw the report that the payment was approved and is being processed and where it will be deposited at.

(40,365 posts)it works when I use my mailing address which is a PO Box.

(25,250 posts)I don't have a PO box.
Question is, is the IRS website programmed not to accept physical addresses? or is there a bug in their system?
