(15,080 posts)May get out of the hospital next week.
Google is your friend!

(190 posts)That the news of him disappeared, after annoying our televisions nonstop for about 30 hours.
Just a light joke about the news cycle.

(82,383 posts)and "google is your friend" is rude. If that's what one wants to post, why not just skip/hide the thread instead of being an asshole?
muriel_volestrangler
(101,295 posts)If they'd skipped the thread, then someone asking the OP as a genuine question wouldn't have got the info.
Now, you think it's amazing that someone took the OP at face value. Perhaps some people don't spend so much time worrying about the level of news coverage as you do, so they don't interpret a question in a non-literal way.

as you do you dont personally know any of these people. Dont speak for them by assigning how often they watch the news. It exceptionally rude, and my personal pet peeve. Dont speak for someone else.
muriel_volestrangler
(101,295 posts)That is the only rude thing in this thread.
treestar
(82,383 posts)is being a jerk. It's shaming the person for asking, and the board is conversational - how much research a person is required to do before putting something on the board is something opinions will differ on. It's not school.
muriel_volestrangler
(101,295 posts)and not "conversational".
I might well say "google is your friend" to someone I know and like; I wouldn't call them an asshole or jerk. If I called someone an asshole or jerk in school, I'd expect an argument or fight.

The guy is a golf phenom.
I wish him the best. And a speedy recovery.

(23,336 posts)This year's Masters and this year's Olympics are not a realistic possibility. Except in the broadcast booth.
Brother Buzz
(36,412 posts)I fully expect remote interviews.
I did not even know Tiger Woods had his sights on the Olympics.
JustABozoOnThisBus
(23,336 posts)I don't even know how the national teams are selected. He is way down in the ranking of U.S. players, due to medical absence. He might qualify to pay for Thailand, if he wasn't so injured.

You appear to be at least slightly uninformed with regard to PGA driving statistics when Tiger was in is prime.
