A woman who coughed on an Asian Uber driver has now been arrested.

AND she said that she would not use Uber anymore since the incident but Lyft also has banned her.

".A woman who was seen on video coughing and berating an Uber driver has reportedly been arrested by San Francisco police.

Malaysia King, 24, turned herself in to Las Vegas Police on charges of assault with a caustic chemical, assault and battery, conspiracy and violation of health and safety code, KCBS Radio reports.

The other woman, 24-year-old Arna Kimiai, communicating with officers through her attorney, has yet to do so.

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — A woman wanted in connection with a videotaped assault on an Uber driver was arrested in Las Vegas while allegedly attempting to use a fake ID to illegally withdraw funds from a bank account.

The legal issues for 24-year-old Malaysia King now include ID theft charges in Nevada.

Detectives told CBS affiliate KLAS-TV 8 that King was arrested on March 9 after she was caught, along with another man, allegedly attempting to use a fake ID to transfer money at a Bank of America branch.

32. Well, keeping an open mind requires keeping it open all directions.

Her very aggressive behavior and the supposed trigger -- being asked to wear a mask -- really do suggest strong conservative personality. Strong conservatives tend to more bias/bigotry toward others, and given the degree of aggression and violence, I think strong feelings should be suspected.

And given that she is now known to have attacked (attacked?! good grief?) two Asian drivers, it's reasonable to suspect racism as a factor. It's not reasonable to rule it out.

Another thing to at least let cross one's mind in weighing possibilities is that Asians are a small percentage of the population, and that makes them seem an attractively vulnerable-seeming target to violent conservative assholes. Jews were only about 1% in Germany; if they'd been 15% it wouldn't have happened.
