In this pandemic my wife’s mother and her aunt have been staying with us. They recently left to go to their homes to receive the vaccines and then came yesterday because they said reason was our oldest daughter is maybe two weeks out from child birth. I’m truly grateful for them both fine women they were with us when my wife was in hospital and rehab with pneumonia. I told my wife they are a blessing. I feel these ladies feel safer here as widows and we really are not built to be alone.
They live separately my mother in law and wife’s aunt. So in where I find humor is Duncan the golden retriever pup since yesterday when they came to visit has been up aunt D ass. And I say this with humor before dunk was so so. Then yesterday he was all over her when she arrived a pup grrrr wooo wooo I missed you where have you been.
Last night my wife got into bed and told me I lost Duncan it was maybe midnight she said Duncan is sleeping with her aunt. Since July 22 first day he came home this year Duncan has always slept in our bed. When he was so tiny the runt of litter and my wife was in hospital and rehab pneumonia. Duncan and man we’re task force snuggles not infantry battle buds we were cuddle buds.
And as I sit at kitchen bar posting this I smile because Duncan is helping his love do New York Times crossword laying on his back next to her. He’s such a belly rub slut my wife is working in home office and my mother in law is in online service Lutheran church. I told my wife’s aunt Duncan has pcs from the 82nd Airborne 2/325 pir to the 25th infantry tropical lighting I think she told me her first unit was 12 th surgical in Vietnam. I really do not ask her out of respect and decency. Yet I find humor in this with a ten month old furry lover boy.
