The Capitol Siege: The Arrested And Their Stories



Twenty are accused of committing conspiracy, one of the most serious charges brought. At least 46 are accused of committing acts of violence, particularly against Capitol Police. At least 26 are suspected of causing property damage, like breaking windows or doors to gain entry to the building. At least 20 are accused of theft, like the man photographed carrying House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's lectern or one woman who allegedly took a laptop from Pelosi's office.

I hope they do not just sit in jail..I want them working..hard work. These judges know the needs n here are able bodied men n women with lots of time on their hands. No furloughs. No special diets..except for the diabetic terrorist. Nothing but work day in n day out... this is our democracy they wanted to overthrow. No mercy. We will not forget. I never, in my 74 years, dreamed I’d have to worry about this country. I took it for granted .. sure we had some dirty politics but this event was beyond the pale.
