If he did such a great job in Massachusettes, why isn't he contesting Massachussetes?

If a Repub delivered that line it would be game over.

FUCKING GAME OVER!

I didn't watch the debate live, watching a replay.

Point being, I checked DU first, was surfng, never saw this knockout line.

That would have been game over, a Governor of his home state is getting his ass kicked in his "home" state. Why isn't this the main story?

.....in real time, and I quickly thought to myself that I wished he could have delivered that line during a time when there weren't so many other people trying to speak at the same time. Then his words would have had more weight in the total mix of the debate.

If President Obama were to step to the podium and announce,

"I have had a great ride as president, but one term is enough. I am dropping out of the race as of today, and your new nominees are Attila the Hun and Richard Nixon."

...Romney would still lose Massachusetts.

They called him Governor NO.

Here's how law was passed during his tenure:

Legislature crafts/passes bill.

Bill goes to governor's desk for signature.

RMoney vetoes bill; snickers with his stupid staff about how he has "thwarted" the legislature.

Bill is returned to legislature.

Legislature overrides veto, delivers a great big Middle Finger to Mittsy, bill becomes law.

Lather, rinse, repeat. That's how he rolled.

We really did not want the door to hit him in his tight little ass on the way out the door. We wanted him to scoot, and scoot fast, before he had time to do damage to our door like he tried to do to our state. Of course, he spent more time in NH than MA, so he only had to scoot over the border.

His term was largely ineffective, because the legislature just laughed at him. He was a big loser.

Voters hated him by the end of his first term, so he switched to courting the national GOP and running for president for 8 years straight
